Are you hitting your sets?

I hit 'em just fine but it seems middle set is no good anymore. Got hit 4 separate times for full stacks yesterday by 2-outers on the river to give villain higher set.

while it seems that way and its the most true for really tight nitty players(not all FR guys are supertight), being down a lot of sets would really hurt at 6maxNL or HUNL they are crucial hands for your winrate

OP, this is not correct.

You have to look at the hands where you saw a flop with a PP, not just hands where you were dealt a PPL.

Your numbers would be correct if you never folded a PP pre-flop, and never won a pot preflop with a PP.

I havnt flopped a set in 154 seen flops with a pocket pair.

finally messed around with the flop-a-set-ometer. i'm 0-7 with KK vs AA (i was well aware of the zero, just not of the other number), and 7-3 with AA vs KK.

i've also been dealt AA the least number of times of any pair, and it also has the lowest set:flop ratio (by quite a bit, too - 14:1 against)

dealt: 5624
flop: 3826
sets: 435
$8,666.00

the blue is to the left of center on the red/blue bell curve graph, so it's nice to know that i haven't just been running crazy hot in this area.

I've played just over 30,000 hands at NL5. Couldn't fit the lower pairs in the screen shot.

I have been dealt a pair of 2's the most, typical. I have seen flops the most with 8's(127 times) and flopped a set 22 times.

Set vs Under set 3 times, won 2.
Set vs Over set 5 times, lost them all. [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

AA into KK 6 times and won 5
KK in AA twice and lost both.

I dont understand how you read the graph though, the more blue the better?

Yes that's correct, the more blue the better. With average luck the blue will be right up the middle.
