Okay fair enough. I'm willing to concede this guy may have disserved a custom title. My point was the trend. Often, it's not called for. I was not trying to be a jerk -- I try not to rock the boat.
But I think we can agree the changing of titles is being overdone. That was my point. Please don't allow this questionable example to interfere with that point. |

Unsolicited custom titles should be a clear no-no. Custom titles given by requestion I can't see any problem with.

But should a member decide that they don't appreciate a particular title they can ask for it to be changed back, of course. And unless the title is a * or 'exiled', those requests should be granted. |
