I watched this one sick hand once, wow. The board was KQ366 (suits irrelevent) And this one kid went for 18 bets on the river, with QQ...
vs 66.
Insane. He finally blinked at 18 bets, granted it was 3/6 but wtf??

[/ QUOTE ]

Was this at the bike about 6 months ago? If it was then I was the guy with 66.

In LA it's 4 bets to cap, in LV it's 5. Not sure about elsewhere in the country.

At Commerce I went uncapped myself HU in a limit game. I'm fairly sure it's the same at the rest of the casinos.

If the board is KQJT2 rainbow, Ax may be the nuts, but don't waste everybody's time by going 23 bets heads up (unless your opponent's seeing eye dog is outside).

[/ QUOTE ]

I will never stop raising the river with the nuts heads up. I've seen enough players do stupid things or misread their hands to justify this.

I went 50 bets with quads vs. aces full one time. lol. I had a friend put in eight bets with KK vs. my AdJd on a KQT2, where I thought we were chopping, but I was freerolling on the diamonds. Unfortunately, on the river I only had a call.

If you have the nuts and can't be freerolled on, just keep saying "raise" until the dealer tells you to stop. It's not like your hand is dead if you put in too many raises. I think the heads up 4-bet cap online is one of the worst rules.

This hand was awesome. A guy managed to go 35 bets with Ax vs KJ on an AAAKx board in a 100/200 game.

Twice I've seen people go 8 bets here on the river(one was 10-20 and one was 2-4, same board as described) and it was a scoop.

At one of the local B&M's I turned the straight with K9d, rivered a SF with the board as JJQQT (obv not the way it came out).

Me and buddy go 10 bets, i'm just drooling because the bad beat is stacked and he HAS to have JJ or QQ. he flips over Q4o

I was incredibly disappointed.
