Re: $16s - 25/50, QQ.. lost in these spots
[ QUOTE ]
I like the flop check call because of the Qh.U are getting good drawuing odds and may get a free card on the turn. Check raising with 11 outs is reasonable but I believe a little bit worse than your line. Leading out is the worst option by far because it comitts u to the pot and offers less fold equity when behind than the check raise. [/ QUOTE ] C/R commits you to the pot. If you are behind, check raise kills you here. If you are calling anyway, why not bet? What size of betting would you fold flop here? |

I would probably used a mixed strategy of 60/40 calling vs raising AI here given the size of his bet. I think I would be folding if he bets 350+ |

Re: $16s - 25/50, QQ.. lost in these spots
This is such an ugly spot. You have a lot of equity, but not much fold equity against a better hand.
A guy that limp behinds and then calls a big raise from the blinds isn't going anywhere when he hits this flop. However, the problem with betting is that you won't likely get better hands to fold, or worse hands to call. Also, with a player like this, you get called way too often, giving your self a difficult turn situation. So, I don't think taking the line that maximizes our FE is important here, because I don't think we have much, if any, against a better hand. So, I want to take the line that extracts the most from a weaker hand, but also gives us good odds to chase our 11 outer. I think that line is the c/r all in line. |

I mean you probably have the best hand if it gets checked behind and you have the best draw. Now you have a nice bluff catcher going to the turn. |
