Re: 25NL vs 50NL vs 100NL
I am a regular 25nl player ready to move up to 50nl. I am a pretty good at extracting the most amount of money out of hands as possible yet im still concerned that I wont be able to make as much money at 50nl because of the fact that the players will be much better.
How do you guys feel about this, btw I play on bodog and the 25nl is about equivelant to 50nl on other poker rooms. |

Did you mean it the other way around (that NL50 on bodog is as easy as NL25 on stars or FTP)? |

Re: 25NL vs 50NL vs 100NL
Haha yeah I did mean it the other way around, my mistake. But I have been making about 4 buy in's per day by playing only 3 hours so I feel I have almost maximized getting money out of these donks.
But yes I about to move up to $50 on bodog or cram 10 tables at a time on FTP. Any suggestions in changing my game play? More agressive, more tight, other? Any suggestions greatly appreciated! |

Re: 25NL vs 50NL vs 100NL
A lot has already been said. I'd suggest making sure that when you are moving up to NL100 (at least on Stars/Tilt) that you are properly rolled.
Its my experience that a good or even reasonable player can handle things at NL25 or NL50 under rolled, but given the nature of the game above that--you need to be prepared to weather the swings. The situations just continue to get more marginal as you move up and the variance increases because your edges are smaller. |
