no real immediate concern, after the initial shock of seening them drunkenly make out on the couch while my other roommate and i were watching football. with the history of high roommate turnover in this house for various reasons i just wanted something stable that would last like 6 months without me having to find one or more roommates. who knows, maybe they will shock me even more by ending any hookup relationship amicably and with no after-awkwardness, but its not very likely

Just get a paralegal to draft you up a lease, or I'm sure they're available quite readily. Cover your ass, and sit back and enjoy the shitshow that is sure to follow.

If the lease ends in November you really shouldn't have much to worry about. Make them put their name on the lease, or they have to move out.

I might have misread this but did you turn down a possible 3-some with 2 female roommates ?

ha, no.. the female roommate is bisexual, and tried to hook up with another female roommate who has since moved to israel for school. the bisexual roommate is now hooking up with the new male roommate, which among other factors lead me to conclude that it won't last long and will end badly. like franchise said, i will make everyone cosign the lease w/ me or else they move out as i have no emotional attachment to any of them and could find many potential roommates willing to do so.
