I thought Sanjaya did very well. Good song choice.

Sundance sounds terrible. But the song choice will appeal to his base and get him through.

Re: **Boys night 3/6/07 Thread**
Sundance: Not great, IMO. His only good points (read: he's weak otherwise) are the borderline screaming parts. He's a mediocre cover band singer at best.

Re: **Boys night 3/6/07 Thread**
I'm on the West Coast, so will catch up on actually hearing the performances later. If I had time, I was going to make a "Where the value is" thread, perhaps to be made weekly. Not authoritative, just my 2c, with everyone else's welcome as well. Partially past posting now, but here were my original thoughts that I was going to expand on.
I would have gone with almost all guys, as I've already mentioned I think that the top girls are overvalued. Probably for leading guys, some value in Chris S and Blake at then price of 7-10 or less, and flyer value in Chris R at 4-6 and Phil Stacy at 0-2. No, they won't win, but have shots at doubling or tripling, whereas there's virtually no way that Melinda, for example, can double unless she makes the finale. Slight value in Jordin at 5-7, and don't see it in the other girls. |

Re: **Boys night 3/6/07 Thread**
Sanjaya was awful, it was just so weak and blah. Sundance was OK, I don't know WHY you would pick that song on this show. This season will go down as the worst song choices ever.

Re: **Boys night 3/6/07 Thread**
Hate to say it but I agree with Simon. Bar band.

Re: **Boys night 3/6/07 Thread**
Well Blake picking a 311 song wasn't great, but he put his "unique" spin on it. Sundance, like Simon said, sounded like a bar singer doing a cover song.
