How about just leaving the cute little micies alone? YOU moved onto THEIR land and want to kill them? You say you don't even see them so how are they bothering you? Live and let live is good for your Karma.

Look at what you want to murder for no reason:

That's deep. I look forward to understanding it when I reached the 18th level of enlightenment.

Oil of peppermint.

Very good chance you have over 50 mice under that deck. Almost impossible that they are not in the house also. Set traps in the house to find out. Then go about sealing the house. This sounds easier than it is. Recently I was replacing a friends deck and under the deck there was a basement window. Well this window was not installed right and the top of it had over a 2 inch gap where mice or whatever could enter. The person nearly flipped when I showed them. It had been this way for 15 years and they wondered why they could never fix the mice problem. You have to look everywhere to be sure they are not able to get in. They can fit through a 1/2 inch crack or a hole the size of a quarter. And you have to seal the holes with steel wool or cement they just chew through everything else. You probably won't ever get them all out of the deck for good regardless what you do. Just use the oil of peppermint in the summer when you are out on the deck the most.
