i think if you call the turn he's gonna bet the river a whole lot, so decide one way or another on the turn. (obv you can change your mind if river is 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] or something)

i want to suggest folding the turn, but i dont know since i wasnt around for the rest of the HU match to know whats been going on.

These were basically my thoughts about the hand when reviewing it afterwards. Anyway, I called turn.

I lean towards a turn fold. You call this turn and 9 times out of 10 he fires another big bet on the river where you wouldn't have improved your hand. If you're going to continue it's almost better to raise big/shove turn than call because at least he will probably fold all drawing hands.. not that I'd do that but I don't like the call. Your flop bet sucks IMO, made his RR seem a lot stronger to you than it probably really is to him.

edit: fold the turn. he isn't checking a river so unless you're calling the river, just fold the turn. and i would fold not call twice.

2nd edit: why not just 3bet the flop? you know grimstarr will get it in with any Q and there's a million turn cards you don't want to see.

They are pretty deep, so it seems bad to 3-bet flop.

I really don't like your reasoning for small cbet size.

Are you calling if he jams? Getting 270bb with a pair vs grimstarr who really isnt that crazy seems like a pretty [censored] plan.
