A reraise with AK hand again, this HH, kind of exemplifies why I do not 3bet PF with AK (Call me a wuss/whatever) especially OOP, ......... considering you did, this is standard I guess

These hands always suck, and folding on the turn seems weak, but it is totally standard.

I dunno, maybe I am wrong? In my experience few times players fold to the reraise unless its like a $1.50 raise and its raised to $6-$7.

Them calling tells you nothing, 66% of the time you wont hit and could be crushed.

whatever edge I give up PF, (To me) is gained when an A or K hits and you crush your opponents post-flop *shrugs*

How much equity/$$ do I really give up by NOT reraising PF with AK? I doubt its much

16/9 is folding like zero of his range there, just a thought, we do however have gutshot+overs, so bet bet bet and pray he folds something, but I doubt it

I reraise sometimes.. sometimes I don't. Nobody ever expects AK if you didn't reraise on one hand. But you're going to lose a lot of the small pots when you don't have the initiative.

i dunno, you really think they dont fold most of the time? in my experience, a 3 bet takes down a lot of pots before we see a flop.. almost like free money

and yea.. its a little cautious to not 3bet.. but if you play accordingly post flop i guess its ok

i like building pots though.. i also like not going to the show down too often

its VERY opponent dependent, but a 3bet ak i think, ultimately, is the best way, but honestly if your comfortable enough postflop it shouldn't matter too much..
its all style baby!
