ive never been to the rockford charity events before. can someone please explain to me what is going to charity? just the tourney fee, or x% of the prize pool? or do they expect winner to donate or how does this work?

[/ QUOTE ] i know in michigan they take a % of the pots in ring games, and for the tournaments the payout is usually about 70%-85%. the dealers are paid a maximum of $50/day. |

At Canturbury (MN) we have groups of college kids that come up from Iowa, Missouri, etc. They drive up on Friday, play all weekend taking turns sleeping in the car, then drive home on Sunday.
Thats dedication. Also-- I grew up 15 miles from Soaring Eagle, but I've never been there. |
