Talk to the company, tell them what happened and ask them how they want to take care of it. If they give you any crap, tell them fine, you're off to file a police report about the hit and run and false information by their employee. They most likely will try to settle with you the, but even if they don't, Dave won't do anything to you. Just make sure you have the license number and cargo company info to give to the police.
