since I am going to try the $20 trick at the counter.

$20 trick works well and we are given a suite.

Was the $20 trick easy? I'm staying at the Flamingo with my wife in a few weeks and am going to try it. Did they upgrade to one of the GO rooms or was it something more?

My roll is at 36K, I bring 5500 with me but Im still a bitch and cant force myself to play 5-10. Someone please harrass me until you see playing at least 2-4 on PS.

OK, I'll bite. My bankroll is far less than yours and I play 5-10 NL live.

Good trip report so far, more details on the $20 trick.

Here is the link for the $20 trick.
http://www.frontdesktip.com/index.php

The girl I talked to said the GO rooms were untouchable the week I was there but did upgrade us to the 'suite' which basically consisted of more square footage, a couch and a coffe table. If you are there with your wife, I would recommend upgrading to a strip view room vs. the suite. Good view will score more points than a couch.

Before I post part 2 (On Tuesday morning) can someome tell me how to put in some pics from a cell phone. I do not have a web page but do have the pics on an email on my computer.

Thanks in advance.

It worked for me last time I was in Vegas, got a bigger room, w/ a fridge, and in the main tower. They were slammed at check in, and the guy wasn't the 'young' type most suggest, but he was happy to pocket my $20 for the 4 night upgrade.

Also, if you are staying at any Harrah's property and there is one in your city, get a gold card before going to Vegas. A gold card is standard in St. Louis but if you have one when arriving in Vegas you go to an expedited line and skip the 3 million other visitors in the 'regular line'. If the line is huge and you dont have a card you may want to go to the players desk and get one before checking in. I would guess this almost has to be faster.
