but unless villian is super nitty, probably not the best.

my std line is call and evaluate on turn, what to do if he pots the turn and you dont improve is obv very read dependend.

Well, we didnt really get a great read from OP so I will assume there isn't one. But unless we know Villain CR often/light how many times is he not firing on the turn? Then absent of a read and unless a 6 comes off are we not folding turn bet anyways? Why not just fold now as no one will know we folded an overpair.

[/ QUOTE ]

why are we folding to any non 6? reads would help, but there are certain people who its terrible to fold against here and who you can profitably call down at least on the flop and turn.

easy fold, board is extremely drawy and he can easily have set/2pair/overpair here

hahahahhah at this. this is the most standard call in history.

I wish the good players on here would elaborate in their responses. One lines don't really help anyone.

Of course there are certain people, against a lot of people I will call all 3 streets, but I said that I am assuming that OP has only the read he gave us. If there is little history between the players and our only read is "TAG" then are we really prepared to call turn and possibly river if something like 2 overs hit, or maybe one low spade?

For me, in the absence of information I usually try to error on the side of weak-tight as I personally find people dont CR boards like this enough with air. It is close though, as I think a higher PP such as JJ, by reducing the chances of Villain hitting overs or having a higher PP is enough for me to continue even with giving up our gutter.
