i dont think he plays an over pair this way, this deep. sooo it looks like a bluff or a strong hand. you probably want to play 50bb's or datamine so you can find out the set miners. imagine if you called here and this dude turns out to be 11/8/1.

I don't play anywhere near this high, but I'm surprised no one has mentioned raising turn as an option.
AA is strong enough to raise for value on the turn, no? Or do we put villain on a "nuts or nothing" type of hand in which calling down maximizes value against bluffs? I doubt that's the case, because villain COULD be value-betting worse than AA. How would hero's situation change if he had A3 instead of AA? If we assume that villain will very rarely have a 3, doesn't AA = A3 here? |
