I am perfectly comfortable using this transporter, provided everything gets recreated. I don't believe it's any different than the passage of time.

[/ QUOTE ]I believe in a soul, I assume that it too would get recreated as well using the transport. I really should take some time to quantify that. I believe my furance has an entirely useless conciousness. It's hard to say what it's conciousness looks like, but for [censored] n grins, lets say it's a visual only of a circle with a couple spokes that spins around and lights up when electricity runs thru "it". It has no purpose and can not do anything. Earlier evolved life forms (eg bacteria) I believe also have a consiousness. It does things like count, and provide a visual representation of the world, maybe even vector calculus. It's usefull for providing infomation, but not usefull in being a causal agent. Now higher lifeforms which most humans are included and some other species possibly. Have a conciousness that is not only usefull for information strorage and retrival but also for being a casual agent. I call that a soul.

I don't think it would be me and I don't think *I* would experience it as me, and I think that *I* would die.
Think about this: Let's say you don't die from the measurements. Let's say another copy is created while leaving you alive. Let's say ten copies are created. All of this does nothing to affect your state of mind.
