I'd fold, strangely played preflop, but no solid player is 3 betting you on the turn w/o having you beat all the time.

Trying to decide what you are beat to, 99, AA, AKs.

Default C\'mon, Gabe, loosen up a little . . .

Pop that turn, man, you're close if not ahead of AKo on the turn. Let's gamble a little bit.

AK is the best possible hand for us that he can have, yet we only have 12 outs, which is not at all enough to raise the turn for value. Why not just call down UI and raise the river if we hit the flush.

(1) because he will check the river if the flush draw makes it, and a decent chance he will just call our turn raise if he has his most probable hand (AK).

(2) because we have significant # of outs, as you acknowledge.

(3) because there is the slim chance we are already ahead on the turn.

I agree it's a close call, but I like raising it. If it's 50/50, then I'm definately raising, because raising is fun.

raising the flop or just calling and letting others in behind you with a big suited A and position are both good. if it was not raised before you i certainly raise, but here i likely call (again both are fine) - i just call assuming the opener has good raising standards?

i don't like the turn raise unless your read says he flat called the first raise preflop with AJs, ATs, etc. to be it seems like AK, 99, maybe AA, maybe AQ (which of course is least likely). you 3 bet it preflop, so he must like his hand to be playing this aggressively. either he doesn't respect your raises, or he has you beat. it seems calling down is best, i don't think you are best nearly enough to raise the turn (especially since he can pop you again a better hand).

9's full would be odd given his PF line....AKs is more likely....but still a different approach PF.

I dont think you're ahead on the turn, I'd fold or find a cheaper way to get to showdown.

Not trying to be a pain in tha a** but,
1 Obviously if the FD was there on the flop he will be scared when the flush cones, but is he really that afraid of a BD flush?
2 Lots of outs means we have to call a reraise. Equity-wise putting in 2-3 bets as a 25% dog is not good.
3 I cant see a hand we are ahead of. IMO AQ is at the bottom of his range here, but I dont play 100-200.

Your not being a pain the a**, I'm probably wrong on this one. But, as opposed to calling the turn and calling the river, I'm gonna raise the turn, call if 3-bet, and then fold to the river bet. If my turn raise gets just called, I'll check the river unimproved.

TSP the pot is heads up not >3 way
