Eugh looks like a fullhouse too much for me to fold this I think. Definitely a sick, sick spot though.

[/ QUOTE ]

agree, but i think he has quads. a set on that flop is surely going to lead and protect. he turns his set but on a 4 flush and straight board only calls hoping to fill up.

it is sick tho b/c i can see him playing AxA[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] or A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Q the same way too.

[/ QUOTE ]

he's running at 15/4 so i don't think he's 3-betting AQo. I also think its highly likely he has quads but over-bet shoving here with quads is horrendous.

i just can't differentiate his line between the nuts and any random boat....

call and chaulk this up to zeebo if you lose - people don't understand relative v absolute hand strength, and someone is likely to look at even TT as a nut hand.

zomg how does he have a fullhouse here though. he checks the flop with a set on a monotone flop?

QFT

This guy is a supernit, you have to put him on a big pair to 3bet preflop. If he hits his set I can't see him checking this flop so I really think you rule out KK and QQ. Most likely he had AdAx and was scared that you hit your set, remember he's a nit. When he hit his gutshot royal draw (probably first in his life) he didn't know what to do and that explains the erratic play. It's a tough situation but I really think this is a great fold if you have the discipline to let it go.

I dont see a nit shoving quads/full house when he sees that board, he must know you called flop and raised turn with a high diamond, all high diamonds have quads/fulls crushed. Unless this is a BBJ table, I should find a fold, but I dont think I will in the heat of the battle.

reread the action

check check on flop
check call on turn
push river

its true, what set is he checking on that flop? the absolute only hand that makes any sense imo is QQ but even then his river overbet doesn't make sense unless he can't read the board.
