I would bet/fold turn. River action depends a lot on the card.

I agree with CDL that getting it AI on this turn probably means I'm behind, and the majority's line of bet-fold turn sounds good to me.

If a flop bet gets flat-called though, do we think most of UTG+1's range is draws and check-call a blank river (to induce a bluff)?

CDL, what's your reasoning behind not liking the flop raise? I was hoping to take it down on the flop / force out draws / get it HU against the SB with position.

LOL at you making your title "200NL"

this is the no limit forum, so it is obvious that your hand will be a nl or pl hand. putting a "NL" in the title is unnecessary.

Also, 1/2 makes more sense.

And what makes my post special compared to the other 4 posts you've replied to this week with 200NL or 400NL in the title where you didn't feel compelled to lol?

hoping to take it down is not good enough logic for me. If that was your objective then you might as well have ATC. I think that your raise folds out most worse hands with the exception of some strong draws and gets called or raised by all better hands. Also, villain can raise a lot of scare card turns with the lower part of his range and turn his hand into a bluff making this line extremely -EV. Furthermore you now have no way to control the pot and are playing for stacks or not seeing a SD if that is what villain wants.

this is a draw heavy flop. we have top and bottom, how are we not raising a flop bet here? if we just smooth call, we are giving everybody a chance to crack us. Maybe we can raise smaller since we def have a better hand than the sb, but not putting in a raise here is just asking our hand to get worked.

I like your line to this point. Put $40-45 in on the turn. If he raises, fold. If he calls, c/f any scare on the river, c/c anything that looks like a blank. (There's something to be said for a blocking bet on a blank river, too, but I think that's setting yourself up for being committed.)

Protect against the draws. Fire 3/4 pot on turn.
