Could 9/11/14 be a Bible verse?

[/ QUOTE ]

i can't imagine, with all the towelhead talk, that's about anything other than 9/11/2014

[/ QUOTE ]

Perhaps - I just don't see how they would work that into the show, since it is seven years down the road. Or what the Yosts would have to do with it.

Has anyone PMed Actual God to come talk to us yet?

I'm glad it's over, and hope I have the will power not to give it another chance next season.

But all of it may have been worth it just to see:

F___KIN WOO!!!!! Especially to see him talk English.

Yea, I also thought the final line was "Mother of God, Cass Kai." No clue what that means.

The shuffleboard court had the numbers 9 11 14 on it in order as well. At least I think it did. Not that that means anything.

I still have absolutely no clue about anything. If someone smart can please to be explaining to me everything, I'd appreciate it.

I read somewhere that 9:11:14 is some reference to John the Baptist?

The shuffleboard court had 9-11-14-10-OFF. Maybe a tribute to the non-possiblility of renewal - 10 episodes and OFF the air?

I will say that the opening scene with Series of Dreams was really, really well done. Perfect song choice.

And what happened with the doctor? I didn't really catch that either.

If the show never comes back I'm going to try and remember Bill upstairs in his house talking to his dead wife as the final moment from the series... even if it wasn't. Ed O'Neill was amazing in this show - he needs his own show.

Also - Actual God really needs to show up in this thread and please "make with the explaining". Even if it's just to tell us that he can't tell us anything.

AG? Anyone?

You won't need much willpower. The show isn't coming back next season.

Hopey, this seems obvy, but I havent heard this for sure. Have you?

I like puzzles, and stylized script-writing, so I liked the show. Most people who hated it seemed pretty unwilling to give anything different a shot, but oh well.

Dude Abides, I'm pretty sure the conversation with Stark cleared a lot up. What specific questions do you have?

John is coming to warn the earth about some imminent catastrophe involving terrorism and the environment. He is from a higher plane of existence, in some combination of spiritual, extraterrestrial and figurative. Their seemingly benevolent plan is to orchestrate the characters into a organization that will act as a bullhorn for a more conscious mode of living and possibly prevent or overcome the disaster. Many details are unclear, I suppose, but that's the essential gist amirite?
