Re: actually busto
[ QUOTE ]
hands 1300-1330 plz [/ QUOTE ] 1st one was a sick 2 outer for $6k @2knl, next one was coin flip vs maniac all in preflop in battle of blinds AK<QQ, then I moved up to 10knl to win it back 'cause their was a HUGE fish like 50/2 with 35k and I bet my KK on flop and turn and he obviously hit his flush on river when he pushed into me since his aggression was like .5 and .3 on river. I lost 4.5k on that hand and then left the table and moved down to 400nl only to get beat after beat after beat and once I prolly saved half my stack with AA when I was already half all in preflop when villain pushed and my internet all of a sudden disconnected b4 I could call. |

Re: actually busto
OP, in all seriousness, don't listen to these negative people. All they think about is how much you can lose, not how much you can win. Now hop into a 500+30 MTT.

Re: actually busto
[ QUOTE ]
This was inevitable. For months you've posted about how you're crushing NL1000 while short-rolled and people have told you it won't last. [/ QUOTE ] I was getting it in with the best of it or getting set over setted in reraised pots deepstacked and that's pretty much it. I mean I tilted off about 3k of it, but that's about it. I bought a tv and withdrew about 10k to start investments at my bank and then lost all, but $500 of what I have left online. So, 19k to $500 I consider busto. Yes, I was shortrolled, but my plan was to move down if I ever did lose a bit to win it back and I did that and suffered just ridiculous beat after ridiculous beat. I mean I can handle beats and I never freak out or anything no matter what, just say figures and shake my head maybe once or twice, but I figure the streak will turn around after awhile, but it just never did except for a brief 2k upswing at one point. |

Re: actually busto
[ QUOTE ]
you have excellent bankroll management sir. [/ QUOTE ] If I ever dropped 10-20 % of my roll I would generally move up to win it back, putting about 30% of my roll in jeopardy( only if I sw a very juicy table though, where I thought I could have a huge edge). If I lost that I would drop down to 200nl or lately 400-600nl and crush those games and win most of it back before jumping up to play 1knl again. I would consider my recent move down crushing the game 'cause I repeatedly got all my money in as a huge favourite. I normally look at my game when I lose and blame that, (eg, maybe I should have cutdown on his gutshot odds by betting more on the turn or whatever, but recently I can't blame anyone or anything, but the cards.) I would generally only play 2k if I saw the table was juicy and >2k if the table was Very juicy, what's wrong with that? |
