I like Bill Maher but it is really easy to understand why people loathe him. He has some cool guests though and I think he is reasonably funny, if repetitive.

The bit with the 9/11 conspirators interrupting his panel talk was quite lol.

as I'm concerned one of the best shows on TV right now is Brothers & Sisters on ABC. Watch it people. It's got some of the best acting on TV with very relatable characters. (I happen to like the gay brother )

The show is surprisingly good. I like the illegitimate daughter VVVV much.

You like the illegitimate daughter huh. She confuses me. Is she good, is she bad? Can we trust her? I think her bangs were a big mistake. She doesn't look very good in bangs Orlando.

I'm hating Joe right now, very very much.

I think the show is pretty good. I just hate Bill Maher so much. I know that sounds stupid that I can hate him and like his show.

I just think he's such a smug [censored]. I would like to punch him in the stomach.

I get that smugness vibe from Maher, too. Stewart is smart in an inquisitive way, but Maher (at least lately) is just set in his ideas and pounds on them repeatedly. Sometimes I agree with him and sometimes I don't, but either way I just can't watch.

I dig Bill Maher, but this is a topic that is tough for me to discuss, because the absolute and total winner is The Wire. To add, ad nauseum, if you've never seen it, you simply must.

An acquaintance told me this at a cocktail party. Sure enough, I went to On Demand to see the latest Dexter ep. It wasn't available, so I happened on the entire season two of the Wire. I watched all 13 episodes consecutively. I woke up the next morning an my eyes were burning. It was way worth it.

I was a huge fan of Homicide and somehow, the Wire missed me completely.

I see that seasons 3 and 4 will be available on demand later this month. I can't wait.

The show can be funny and I like that Maher is not afraid to piss on parades. At the same time, for someone who is supposed to be very smart and whose job is current events, he is remarkably uneducated on many of the issues addressed on his show.
