OP I'm just treating this game like the live games that I'm used to, where if i call here, and donk for 450 I will def. get called by almost any queen and sometimes even an OESD. If the players are somewhat solid, I would call, and just check the turn and re-evaluate.
You need to give us more background on the game, and on the players(other than the one fish).

Another point I want to make is this, If what your saying is true about how big bets looks scary in this game. Why would he bet so much with a set here or 2 pair. Again this may be the type of live player who is "scared of slowplaying", those guys are funny. Again, back to needed a bit more info on this player.
