Speaking from a somewhat laggy point of view:

your flop c/r = I can't beat A-hi most of the time.

And expecting somebody to fold getting 10:1 more often than when they're getting 8:1 is weird. I don't mind pf though.

Out of position, with a draw, HU, against someone who is going to show down always. Hmmmm. Maybe slow down a little next time. He won't always have 8 high.

There seems to be a mistaken assumption that laggy villain is a showdown monkey - this is definitely not the case. Villain has no problems folding if he senses that he has lost control of the hand and has sensible WTSD and WaSD stats.

Though I suppose this gross hand from the archives could have been useful as well.

Villain raises, Hero 3bets with 88, Villain caps.

Flop AJ2r

Villain checks, Hero bets, Villain raises, Hero folds

Villain flashes 33.
