Opponent is famous Atlanta live player Dave Woo. We decided to play some friendly 5/10 heads up. We each bought in for $2k, but we definitely aren't getting drunk and donking around. The mood is very serious. Here's a run down of Dave's game:
Pros: --Outstanding physical live reader --Fearless in every respect --Creative Cons: --Prone to tilt which causes him to bluff too much and won't fold pairs --Weak in some technical fundamentals --Probably a bit to loose in general He has $1800, and I cover. I've mostly been getting the better of him by showing down the goods when value betting or calling his bluffs. He views me as overly solid/tight. I raise button to $35 w/ J7o and get instacalled. Flop 2d2s5h ($70 pot) I bet $50, he check raises me to $125 which means he has two cards. I re-raise to $375. He goes through some acting about wanting to fold, then wanting to call, then wanting to fold and finally calls. Turn Td (Pot $820) He leads for $300 pretty quick. I pause and call. River Qh (Pot $1420) He mulls and decides to bet $200, leaving himself with $875. I muck. |
