Which version of the Java virtual machine do you have ? You really need the latest ( 1.5 or later ). I you already have this version or if the problem remains, let me know, i'll dig a little further. [/ QUOTE ] Downloading an update to Java worked, thank you. |

Re: Free Hand History Replayer
I really suck.
100% my fault. The "beta version" shouldn't be online anymore. But i forgot to update the english page when I updated the french one. This should be fixed now : there should only one ( stable ) version available. This is the one you must get. |

Thx for your language support bhudson [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
But I've made an english translation, and it should work ( I've fix some stuff minutes ago, you should re-downloaded if you still have french ). About your suggestions ( to which I'll always listen very carefully ) : 1) The slider for the hand is indeed a good idea. I thought about it some times ago but never really get it done. I think I'll put this feature in my top "to-do list". 2) You're right, again. I intend to do this as well quite soon. I'll let know when it's done. |

Re: Free Hand History Replayer
Any chance of porting it to PocketPC format? That would be fantastic! Replay hands on my phone [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

If I want to send someone my XML, they can open it, and watch back my hands with my feedback (or add there own), as the hand(s) progress. Critical. |

Re: Free Hand History Replayer
You mean what does it do ?
Well it's a stupid stuff I added, that gives you a positive result if your hole cards were above average ( if > 1, a lot above average ), and a negative result in the opposite case. I just look up in a table the probability you have to win the hand at showdown with your hole cards, against the current number of opponents. I compare this probability to the average probability to win any hand against X opponent ( 25% for example against 3 opps ). I get a number ( first proba minus the second ), and display the average number on the whole session. ( sorry if i'm not clear, but my english sucks almost as much as this feature does). |

Re: Free Hand History Replayer
I would also want to see a notes field for each player. Before a session review, we could populate those with our reads. I usually have lots of stats & notes on the players already at the beginning of the seesion.

Re: Free Hand History Replayer
About the ability to add notes :
All you have to do is to write your comments either in the "Action" area ( if you want to comment this specific action ) or in the "Hand" area ( if you want to comment the whole hand ). Then you can highlight a specific hand ( grating it some "stars" ). But you must "save"( with the button at the bottom of the screen ) your "work" before going any further. This way, your XML file will be updated ( thus fullfilled with your own comments or highlight ). You can then share it ( people will see your comment/highlight throught the player) or export it ( into BBCode : again, the export stuff will contain your comments ). Let me know if you get any trouble with this feature, or with any other. |
