Just so you know, you aren't allowed to call it "a few" when it's more than ten, it's in the rules.

Good post.

[ QUOTE ]
Take it from someone who is currently running well and making lots of money... Variance can be sick, and you should always play where you feel comfrotable and do what feels right to you, not what someone else did that made them sucessful quickly. Thr most sucessful players over a 3 month period are just about NEVER people running average or below average. This doesn't mean the people making the most money are not the best players, they often are, all i am suggesting to aspiring players is to not get sucked in to surreal world of money that is poker, generally the best reuslts will be achieved by doing things your own way.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm impressed by your maturity and balanced outlook on poker, especially for someone so young. Good luck in the future, I hope you continue to do well.

Haha, huge oversight, my bad! Just to clarify for everyone, i met Lee in the Bahamas, (He was kind enough to book a room for me as i wasn't 21 and then again on the party cruise. I just didn't include his name in the post so he would be jealous and i would maintain the power balance in our relationship

I believe my bankroll was around 38k when i made the post a year ago. At the time, i was playing 5-10 limit with a 38k bankroll because i felt like i had not been playing well and wanted to move back down and get back to basics.

Interestingly enough, i recently cashed out some of my bankroll and decided to again play lower than i could technically afford, and i ended up having a six fiugre month. The point is, sometimes the best results are not achieved by pushing and pushing and pushing, but rather by relaxing and really focusing, and just letting the rest unroll as it will.
