Default Re: What\'s the future of Poker?

Drivel - what has happened is that the non-US sites are getting fishier by the day as the poker boom continues apace everywhere in the world outside the US.

The EPT has twice as many entrants as last year. The WSOP is coming to London (including a £$10k entry NL 'main event')

AS for online, I would never dream of playing (except in MTT's) on a site that allows US players now - why swim with the sharks when you can swim with the fishies instead?

Party has almost caught up with Stars again now numbers wise and the players there are far worse on average than before the split..

Consider this...

One day poker will be legalized. This will be the dawn of a new era. Commericals will flood the airwaves with statements like "Legal and safe." You will be able to log on to a poker site and deposit and withdraw with a visa/mastercard/AMEX. There will be no need for neteller.

People will flock to these new sites based in American with names like "Caesar's Online Poker" "BellagioPoker.com."

It will be accesible, it will be easy. It will make the poker boom of three years ago look like spark...

When this happens, and granted it will take time, we will all be very very rich.

The good days shall come. They shall...
