if you bet you probably have to fold. I like check/something.

seems like that would be giving up a fair amount of value if she can't get away from an overpair no? I'm pretty sure checking will give up a lot of value when i'm ahead and make me go broke when i'm behind.. I obv won't get to showdown without being all in if she has JJ/99 and its fairly obvious SB gas a draw so if she checks behind thats not good either.

[/ QUOTE ]

it's a fine line and depends on the exact type of player she is. I don't want to get too deep into this because it's a very long post and gives away a little too much. but basically, you want to bet when you will know exactly where you stand after she takes her action, and check if (for instance) she would call 100% of a fairly narrow range.

bad flop raise. bad turn bet,

I didn't notice how small the flop raise was, yeah, I'd definitely make it bigger, maybe more like $200

Turn bet does seem a bit on the biggish side, but it does make folding to the raise a bit easier.

If you make it 800, it's really easy to get away if she raises

yea it was 8 or 9 handed... andanthar, I think its pretty safe to say her calling range still includes a number of hands i'm ahead of, but she is unlikely to raise without having the best of it. However I feel her betting range if i check is pretty simalar and I have no idea where i'm at. If i c/c the turn wtf do i do on the river?

if she'll bet every overpair, i'd probably c/r all-in on the turn. but most people fitting her description will check their overpair on the turn.

I really think we are good here. with the str8 and flush draws out there you think shes going to slow play jj/99?? I could not fold this.
