If I remember correctly, there are pretty good gains to be made by using 2 harddrives.
1 for Windows, poker client and stuff and 1 for your Pokertracker database(s). When you have a harddisk dedicated to your database, you avoid having the harddisk flipflopping between reading all sorts of operation related stuff and reading your database.

There is almost no difference between a separate partition and a separate hard drive.

start->programs-> postgres-> config files-> edit pg_hba.conf

scroll to teh bottom, and change the first instance of md5 to trust,save and then try again.

Is this a good time to tell you that the command actually routes all of your poker-site logins to me?

For serious, it can take a while.

And also... this is something that needs to be done on a regular basis. The database will get "un-clustered," over time, so add this to your weekly maintenance regiment.
