dude, you have to get the photos of her in some other way. she knew you were up to something and she thought about it for a long time and built it up to be something great, so obviously she was disappointed when she just got a stupid bobblehead.
had she gotten it out of nowhere, she probably would have liked it.

Thoughtful, no. Thoughtful means "I thought about something that you might really like based on your hobbies/needs/wants and got that". 2. A good cute gift should cost about $5. 3. A cute gift needs to be accompanied by a serious, meaningful gift. Sorry about the harshness, I was just being facetious because I think that you're gift was a horrible, horrible gift. I think that the girls who said that it would be a good gift meant that it would be a nice goofy gift to go along with something actually, you know, good.

Expectation vs Reality. You asked for pictures from her and told her it was related to her present but not to ask you questions about it. Did you even consider what her expectations and fantasies during the next month might have been? I expect a bobblehead was waaay down her list.
