What does the guy like? Is he a sports fan? You could always go to a game and get a luxury box or some really nice seats and then get a nice dinner somewhere. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, a game seems like a good idea for this type of thing. It sounds like your friend might be a little more interested in an opera show, though. Kidding, but kinda serious...your friend sounds pretty boring. |

Re: Bachelor party ideas for Lame Groom (No strippers, no clubs)
i was going to suggest something like dave and busters, but then i realized how lame you guys will look having a bachelor party there.
have a [censored] bbq, cook up some sick steaks. then, i don't know, go to a karoake place where you can rent a private room, might be more fun if you met up with the bachelorette party. |

Re: Bachelor party ideas for Lame Groom (No strippers, no clubs)
It's not that strippers are always a given or great at all (I personally don't see the huge upside to strippers, yea, I love naked women and all, but sitting around with your friends watching one isn't my cup of tea), but it's the "not allowed" part that I think people are saying is crappy.
No alcohol? This is much worse. I have no ideas for ya. You should know what he likes to do as hobbies. Going to a baseball game, allnight bowling, paintball, skydiving, hiking, 6-man RISK game, Starcraft-LAN party, whatever he likes. All of these things are better with alcohol, IMO, but whatever. |

Re: Bachelor party ideas for Lame Groom (No strippers, no clubs)
Do you even like this guy? The bachelor party should be an occasion for friends to get together and do stuff that they enjoy, preferably on a larger scale than the average Friday night. As KKF noted, it's idiotic to think a bachelor party has to have a stripper or booze if the groom wouldn't enjoy those things.
So if you like hanging out with the guy, arrange a day where your friends all hang out doing fun [censored] together, whether it's golfing, paintball, bbq, poker, a baseball game, whatever. If you don't like the guy, then it's probably going to suck, but then why would you be in charge of arranging for a party for a guy you don't like? |

I am going to have to help throw a bachelor party for a groom who is not allowed strippers, hates clubs and drinking and drugs. [/ QUOTE ] Sounds like he's going to enjoy marriage. |
