Re: Would this make the NBA about 5,546 times better to watch?
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] WTF? The reason games drag on at the end is mostly because of intentional fouls, not timeouts. The team that was ahead would still try to run the clock down and the team that was behind would still have to foul them. [/ QUOTE ] The timeouts are a bore. After all the games and practices, shouldn't coaches just be able to call a play and have everyone know what they are supposed to do? Do we really need 5 timeouts in the last minute of a game? I am with the OP. The last few minutes of an NBA game is borderline unwatchable...and it shouldn't be that way. [/ QUOTE ] its not because of timeouts |

My father always says the NBA was way better without the 3 point line.

Well, I'm so old-school that I still think college hoops would be better without the shot-clock.
No, I'm not kidding. |

Re: Would this make the NBA about 5,546 times better to watch?
You guys think you're old-school? There's a huge part of me that thinks football would be better without the forward pass. It's just so gimmicky. One guy makes a mistake and it doesn't matter if his team was completely dominant up front. Also, the referees always give the receiver the benefit of the doubt if he even gets breathed on by the defense. That's not what football's about IMO.
I just love watching teams like Arkansas, Navy, and West Virginia when they eschew the passing game altogether. It's beautiful to watch. |

they should also move the goal posts back to the front of endzone so people can run into them again
