What if tie is Grimmstar? Think about it... Grim hasn't been heard from in awhile... he has access to a ton of money... Maybe he has lost his mind and made this "tie53" account in order to pay tribute to "glove55," his master..
Adding to this theory, it now seems to be common sentiment that maybe tie isn't the biggest fish ever, and in fact is about as skilled as a good 10/20 HU player. Hmmm... also sounds like Grimmstar...

Not sure about the true identity, but starting to think perhaps that perhaps Tie set up the biggest fish ever persona to disguise sharkiness - the old sheep in wolves clothing gambit
