I like the line actually, and don't mind the turn check. Exactly what ace do you think he has here? I think this is a T very often, and a set sometimes. You want to minimize your losses against a set and make a T believe his top pair is good.

honestly, i cant stand this line. on the flop, you get donked into for $19 in a $36 pot. and you are still 3way at that point. you caught a good flop, and you have someone to act behind you. im raising this flop up!

as played, im also betting this turn. villain looks like he has a T. and even if he's trapping, find out before an overcard hits. dont give him free shots to beat you.

river call looks fine. you could probably value minraise and fold to a shove actually. i imagine JJ is good here more often than not.

If he minraises the river he has $30 left.

I don't see it.
If I shove river, what hands do I beat that will call?
I doubt he has a hand like JT or AT.. he's a winning reg w/ those stats over 2k hands, so I don't think he's calling me down w/ 77-99, and he has a tendency to bluff, so what good does a shove do?

But what Ax is he leading into two people with? Not AQ/AK, and I doubt hes playing AT in a multiway 3b pot.

So he's probably leading with something like 77-99, QQ-AA, or a set.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'd agree that AT is unlikely to 3-call preflop, but why not AK/AQ? If you think he might take a shot at stealing the pot on this with 77-99, why wouldn't he do it with whiffed overcards?

If you are 100% convinced that he can only have a pocket pair here, then obviously WA/WB applies.

he nearly never has a bluff with this line.

I like this hand on every street. I really don't see what a turn bet accomplishes aside from folding out weak hands that you'd rather have "bluff" at you on the river. Well played.
