Rudy incorrectly said that tariffs caused the great depression. It was caused by the Federal Reserve cutting off the money supply.

Dr. Paul talks about the evils of the military industrial complex in his first answer. And the GE owned station dose not ask him another question the rest of the night.

So far this seems like the Rudy and Romney show.

Dumb and dumber.

According to Brownback, Iraq is going to get federalism - "a weak federal government".

Do none of them see the irony of Iraq getting what our government has not allowed us to keep?

It is interesting that the Republicans participate in debates moderated by Matthews, Olbermann, Russert, Stephanpolous etc...while the Democrats refuse to be questioned by Brit Hume. I wonder what the reaction would be if one of the networks allowed a former partisan Republican operative to moderate a Democratic debate? I doubt it would fly.

Ron Paul lays the smackdown on Hunter and Romney!

Mitt Romney: Consult lawyers, not Congress and the Constitution.

Ducan Hunter: Preemptive strike on Iran.

Ron Paul: Read the constitution once in a while!

well, if you claim something like that you must also claim that they raised rates (i.e. youre cutting off the money supply) in order to maintain the gold standard instead of lower rates to deal with domestic issues.

so if there was no gold standard to defend, there would be no rate hikes, and thus, according to you, no great depression...

so gold peg caused the great depression in your view.
