Re: Profitable lines against very-aggressive players when OOP
[ QUOTE ]
What does FPS mean? [/ QUOTE ] Fancy Play Syndrome. Here's a hand against a Lag that's not a set (TPGK) but worked fine using Line 2. Results in white below (highlight to see them). Full Tilt Poker No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.05/$0.10 5 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $11.30 CO: $11 Button: $8.50 Hero: $9.90 BB: $14.40 Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is SB with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] UTG folds, CO calls, Button raises to $0.45, Hero calls, 2 folds. Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($1.1, 2 players) Hero checks, Button bets $1.1, Hero calls. Turn: 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($3.3, 2 players) Hero checks, Button bets $2.1, Hero raises all-in $8.35, Button calls all-in $4.85. Uncalled bets: $1.4 returned to Hero. River: 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($17.2, 0 player + 2 all-in - Main pot: $17.2) Results: Final pot: $17.2 Hero showed Kd Qd Button showed Ad 9c The best part was the villain's name was some version of "Ship it you fish." After the hand I typed into the chatter "Ship it!" and everyone contributed their "lol"s and villain left all pissed. |

Re: Profitable lines against very-aggressive players when OOP
I prefer line two. I don't want to stray too far away from how someone would play a weaker made hand.
Here's a hand I played this past weekend. Poker Stars, $0.05/$0.10 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players LegoPoker Hand History Converter UTG: $14.45 CO: $7.65 BTN: $13.10 Hero (SB): $11.65 BB: $12.40 Pre-Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (SB) UTG calls $0.10, 2 folds, Hero raises to $0.50, BB folds, UTG calls $0.40 Flop: ($1.10) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero bets $0.70, UTG raises to $1.40, Hero calls $0.70 Turn: ($3.90) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero bets $2, UTG raises to $8.80, Hero raises to $9.75 and is All-In, UTG calls $0.95 River: ($23.40) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 is All-In) Results: $23.40 Pot ($1.15 Rake) UTG mucked Ks Qc and LOST (-$11.65 NET) Hero showed Qh Qd (a full house, Queens full of Nines) and WON $22.25 (+$10.60 NET) |
