I never fold here, esp with stack sizes.

I don't fold because of the fact he's a shortstack and we've got a lot of hands beat. In reply to the idea that he would slowplay two pair? That's a horrible way to think. If he has two pair, he'd be making a bigmistake in not reraising all in. There are a lot of cards that could hurt him, including counterfeit. Should the board pair and he not have one of those in his two pair, he's lost the pot. Getting in ahead is important.

I had a similar hand just the other day.

SH 25NL, 1 limper on the button who is shortstacked.

I Raise in SB with KK. He calls
Flop T53. I put in a CB. He calls
Turn is a Q. I bet 2/3 pot, he pushes with 77..

Once in a while you will find a slowplayed JJ+ but that is rare.

The number of times you have a shortstacked beat far outweighs the few times he got a premium hand.

If he does have a premium hand, he will wait for you to bet into him all the way to the river and then he pushes.

PS. Sorry for the HH format, didnt save the HH DS.

I call. He's short, you've still got a monster and likely have 8 outs if you're behind.

I guess I might've been fooled into thinking I made a bad call, because as I was deciding there was a loud voice in my head saying "He has K7, He has K7, He has K7" that made it difficult for me to even think about other hands. Eventually I was able to shut that voice up and convince myself there were enough hands I was beating to call, and he had K7. (Being awesome at this game, I rivered a 2)

You bet to small on the flop..

What was the question?

Instacall, there is no way to lay down this hand. NO way.

No but this is:

Why did AA cross the road?

..

Because he only had 3:1 against K6/K7.
