Just from my experience (but please read as much as you can about all 3)

1. Party, but not in US.

2. Stars (best all around, but Party has the most fish because of the advertising)

3. Absolute (rigged)

You're all laughing about me e-mailing party to find out if internal rakeback is possible, but I actually recieved a prompt and detailed answer about cash redemption of player points for vip players, and how I would qualify for this.

I was impressed. Of course, regular rakeback would be better, but at least they were prompt and honest.

Do people just love stars for the heavy traffic, fish and trust in the company?

No rakeback and no substantial sign-up bonus is -EV.

I've been checking out the ring games on party. I don't think it's quite as fishy as people believe. Sure, it's fishy, but no fishier than stars or full tilt with correct table selection (I'm sure it was a different story back when US players were rife). Maybe it's way off peak time right now on Party, but the average pots in the looser rooms are around the $20 mark at 50c/$1.. Full Tilt and Stars both have ring games going at these stakes with average pots of $30+ in the crazier games.

I'll continue to observe the games and see what happens.

Sigh. Why do full tilt want to lose business? Why can't they just give me rakeback? I sent them an e-mail regarding the fact that even though they'll "lose" 27% of their rake by paying me rakeback, they'll actually gain $1200 a month in paid rake, since I'll play at other sites if they will not allow me to have it. It's such a screwed up mindset. It's lose lose for both of us.

Sounds like Party could be my site. I e-mailed vip@partypoker.com to try and confirm that I will be able to obtain rakeback.

That has been discussed here million times. Stars doesn't have rakeback through affiliates but its VIP program is equivalent or better than rakeback for volume players.

stars rakeback comes from fpp

Also if you do like tilt with the new iron man store you can earn bonus that mixed with their point system could be fairly rewarding.

Might be worth getting bronze each month and getting the status built up so your earning a lot of iron man medals

On stars, the average pots in SHNL100 is about 10-20$. On Prima, it's 20-35. But if you realy want to catch some fish, then go to pacific poker. Thats a banana country. People throwing allin like crazy, even those with 200$ stack dont hesitate to put everything in with AQo. I played there earlyer today and in one table he average pot was 65$ and not just for a moment, but it stayed like that for hours.
