Uh, yeah, Dom, this thread was posted 2 months ago.

I bumped it to share with everyone that the movie turned out to be truly abyssmal trash.

As a fan of the games, the excellent visuals and music made this a fun watch. The dialogue was absolutely terrible, though. So, yeah, not too bad in context of the games, pretty crappy on its own.

It's all about expectation. I walked into this movie expecting it to be like watching somebody play a really sweet horror videogame, or at least a really long videogame cutscene. And that's what I got. And I was satisfied. The final boss thing was pretty sweet, you have to admit.
