I believe FTP gives most players a small amount of money (around $5) for the inconvenience.

Also, when the server is back up everyone is going to be on tilt.

I don't mind that Full Tilt usually goes down for maintenance and/or possibly upgrading, but the only thing that bugs me is that they don't inform you ahead of time. I know that they occassionally have in the past, but why not just send out a mass e-mail to all users with a simple "Site will be down for (fill in the blank)" ? This is not too much to ask for is it?

When FTP went down a few weeks ago they had announcements every five minutes for 35 minutes before the server went down which would be ideal for future problems. I only play on FTP so I am unsure if it is standard for most sites to go down so frequently.
