Does anyone have any good recipes for this thing?? Everytime I use it I end up getting a piece of meat that's so dry that it's like eating a dish rag. [/ QUOTE ] You're cooking things too long is all.... following the guides that the book gives you is pretty accurate for decent cooking. This things (and I cook really well and often) is actually a miracle invention for those with limited space/time/motivation for other forms of cooking. I use it often. |

OP,
Pan frying allows the fats and oils to stay with your burger. Foreman grill dries your meats. |

2. How the hell do you guys clean these things? Seriously its the biggest pain in the ass ever. Usually right after cookings its too hot to clean plus I want to eat anyway. So I'll soak it in water, then come back and turn it back on to heat it up a bit, and then scrub....but even still theres always a bunch of meat really stuck to the grill and I've been scrubbing so hard that the paints coming off! [/ QUOTE ] This is the reason I hate these things and refuse to have one in my house. I gave the one that my mom gave to me back to her when I was in school. Then, she gave me another one the next year for Christmas and I gave her that one back right away, too. |
