I would play the turn, like you did.

On the river I find a flush not very likely on this board. Cap.

By the way, definely raise the flop!

What are you guys talking about with this "3-bet the flop?"

Look at the hand: Hero can't possibly 3-bet the flop!

AQ is premium. 3bet preflop. The 3bet PF will give UTG the chance to cap. If he caps you can narrow his range. If he doesn't then you know you're much more likely to be ahead. As played you don't have this information going into the flop.

Raise the flop. You have top pair with a strong kicker. Plus a nut straight draw. Raising will again give villain a change to reraise out of position which will help you to know where you stand if he 3bets you. Get more information cheaply on the preflop and flop. Again you don't know where you stand going into the expensive streets.

Raise the turn. It's more unlikely villian has been betting/raising preflop and flop with a flush draw. So you're more likely good here. So raise, this will also charge anyone who is now one card away from a flush.

Grunch: I'd have played it the same way except I'd have reraised the river.

Now that I read the other replies (especially halpgr) I realise I was not counting the full amount of outs.

In any case I would not worry excessively about the flush on the board because if I was chasing a flush I'd have definitley raised the flop for value, knowing that I'd almost certainly get a high-pair/straight-draw player to keep calling and calling. That your opponents didn't do it suggests they're not THAT strong, unless they're on a misguided slowplay.
