Was this actually 6-max, or a full-ring table that had gone short?

[/ QUOTE ]

6-max.

Like I said I didn't have a lot of hands with these guys, but in the orbit or whatever I had played at the table noone had stood out as any kind of aggressive. Given this I figure UTG is betting either a king on the flop, or just decided to take a shot randomly with some other holding. Either way there's a good chance he won't fire again on the turn, so I definitely feel I made a mistake checking on the turn.

The bigger problem is that, having made this small mistake (it's entirely possible that if you bet everybody would fold) you then multiply it by not raising when it's back to you (and you knew you'd get at least 2 more bb).

Preflop, flop and river look fine to me.

I say donk the turn for two reasons. One, you have the best hand (unless UTG calls w/ AK preflop). Second it would really suck to have the best hand and get drawn out on the river if it happened to get checked through. If you get raised by UTG I'd more than likely call down but think about folding.

I don't raise this preflop... but it's close. I raise AJs, so I guess it's not too terrible.

Flop check is fine... didn't hit, too many opponents to c/bet... no value... no fold equity.

I'm personally ok with the turn check/call... so many opponents, not sure if another person hit their kicker with a pair of A's, 2pair or set on flop. No value in a raise, but now we picked up a showdown hand.

River doesn't change anything... I think it'd be a hard decision if you're raised by donk-betting, so to avoid it, I'd c/c.

In a five-way pot? Oh sweet Jesus, yes. It's standerd as standerd can be.

"not raising this hand could be a bigger mistake than not raising 72o"-sshe.

I feel like the flop should've been folded. Maybe three clean outs. Getting 12 to 1 you don't really have the desired 14 to 1, and I'd say if anything your implied odds are reverse. But as played donk turn. Bet river.

Explicitly count the outs you think you've got, so we can help you. (I'm pretty conservative, and I'm getting around 6 outs off the top of my head.)
