I can't say I watch a lot of SD games, but his play calling last Sunday was awful. In general, LT should have had 35 touches. Specifically, 3:00 left, tie game, LT picks up 5 on first down, hasn't been stopped all day, and they throw twice and punt.
Maybe he's a good coordinator and maybe he'll be a good head coach, but I need to see something before I'm convinced. |

I agree, CC is the guy who underutilized the league's best player in his franchise's most important game in a long time and they make him a head coach? Sure you can't judge him on one game after they had a very successful offense all season but I wouldn't be wicked excited about this hire if I was a fan of the Dolphins.

When Cam Cameron took the IU job he made his first priority getting a new logo for the football team. Nither he nor the new logo lasted very long. I hope for Miami's sake he has gotten his priorities straight this time. On the positive side, they don't have to worry about any College programs trying to steal him.

Unbelievable this guy went from IU head coach to Miami in, what, five years? I like it though, but I think anyone taking that job is just getting hired to be fired in 3-4 years anyway. [/ QUOTE ] ridiculous hire...this guy was overmatched in the big10 let's recycle old white guys |

I don't understand this. He basically had the best player at his fingertips for a few years. A dope FB. A dope TE. A nice line. And by all accounts to good to decent QB's. Home boy seems overrated to me. I don't see their O missing a beat next year barring any injuries.

Saying Tomlinson is the best player is ridiculous. His first season as coordinator was Tomlinson's first good season. It was Brees' first as a starter. Does he get no credit for developing Gates, Brees, the offensive line?
SD's offensive rank since he took over: 17, 13, 6, 6, 2 Being a good college head coach seems to be a pretty bad indicator or your NFL success, also. |

In the last few years, we've had two of the best O-Line coaches ever--Joe Bugel and Hudson Houck. They were responsible for the "Hogs" and the great Cowboys Offensive Lines respectively. Houck is ridic.--he has produced ~45 pro bowl seasons from his offensive lineman in 24 years IIRC. |
