when you have been active enough that you might get raised with nothing and have a decent backdoor draw, or just a decent draw, you dont want to get bet off and your chances of getting paid off should you hit are better than usuall so you dont want to waste it.
Its funny as a lag, people stack top pair off to you because they "know" you would allways semi bluff a flush draw, know when your likely to get paid off and dont get bet off. |

When you're against an aggro or tricky opponent and there's a dry board you're not likely to have hit. If you're raising often pf, it's good to sometimes "give away" pots to make your c-bets more credible.

betting on a low, drawy flop even against one person when you are likely to get raised is bad. bet these flops sometimes, but far less than normal.
