I've never had enough in it to max it out. As wide as you could open the jaws it would hold, so Id guess lke 60. Depends if you are using the little card holder or not too. (you dont have to)

The nicest thing about it is it doesnt loosen up over time. It will hold one bill just as tight after a million uses as it will the first time.
