I don't mind a chk or a bet on this turn. I think they're about equal ev, given villain's stats. People with stats like these are limping pp's a lot and only raising premiums -- very exploitable.
On the turn, villain's range is pretty polarized between something that kills you and hands that have almost no outs. With a full stack, I definitely chk turn (we're not getting 3streets from anything we beat unless he's a call down monkey). Given villain's 60BB, however, I'm fairly ready to stack off if he happened to hit a set. |

I think you have to call, you have great odds and every once in a while you will be seeing some bizare move by this short with those stats.

you shouldn't bet turn if you don't want to call the ai here.

I'm not sure if I'd bet the turn. I might just check and c/c river bet. As played I can't fold either. We've gotten into a tough committment decision here. Checking turn makes it less tough.

Villain has AA gg life [/ QUOTE ] Well then we have over pairs in Villain's range not just sets. Since this could be AA,QQ,JJ,TT I don't see the problem with betting the turn. Our hand is strong. I think checking behind on the turn is results oriented and we lose value more than control the pot. Bleh. Poker + Variance = This situation. +EV |

[x] Hero has passed the point of no return when he bets turn. [ ] Hero's bet sizing sucks [/ QUOTE ] I have to agree with this. I just finished reading PNL1 and it greatly sheds light on pot commitment and SPR's. Once you bet that turn at that size, you are committed to the pot. Having that said, if the villian is a true TAG and he c-c'd the flop and c-r'd the turn, you are really hurting here. |

Villain is a shortstack which makes this a call.
