Sounds like you don't want to hear the truth: It's a bad idea to play K3o (it's not even a good blind-stealing hand, because it's very subject to domination by hands that will call or raise). Calling the reraise was also questionable, because you are almost definitely behind (and if he has a king, way behind).
On the flop, you have to win more than 1/3rd of the time for it to be a correct call. An overpush there from the halfstack might mean a mid pocket pair, yes, but it's just as likely (perhaps more so) that it represents a K or a 9. If it's a king, you're drawing for a split, and if it's a 9, you're dead to 2 outs. If he has a diamond draw, it's a race. Looking at all that info, I guess a call on the flop is not terrible, but you're definitely gambling without a good read. Villain showing strength preflop and pushing this flop after you called indicates (to me) that you're beat. As it was said, I'm folding in 3 spots on this hand.

Apologies I missed the overcall from the bb - I agree that this does make it marginal.

Having said that your guy is pushing into two people - which I think makes your call more marginal - I still make it though.

Hand ranges - in terms of re-raising hands (without a read to the contrary) you've got the standards - AA, KK, QQ, JJ, AK plus a few more: AQ, AJ, A10, TT, 99, 88, KQ.
I guess you beat a good lump of that range

Turns out I had the BDFD too. This is why I think a discussion about hand ranges is difficult at his level. Although, in general, I feel like hand ranges are rarely discussed in uNL.

K3o OTB... if the blinds are tight, and you've been getting a lot of respect, this is a fine steal hand

when you get rr-ed fold.... that's it, you're done w/ the hand... i don't care what kind of odds you're getting, you're not getting odds to draw to trip 3s... which is basically what you need odds for

on the flop, villain's overbet is suspicious, but I can't really interpret it... my guess is that villain has a K, a 9, or a pocket pair...

anyway, villain is short, and short stacks do stupid [censored], so i can actually see why you would call, but i think you are calling to split or are beat too often here... although i could see villain doing this w/ QQ.... idk.

Personally I think this is fine.

PF raise: I can see it in the right situations

PF Call: 6:1, are you folding getting 6:1 plus implied odds if we hit, folding seems stupid to me

Flop call: standard, this is almost never a 9 and is usually TT+ (though probably not KK), I would put his range on AQ+,TT-QQ,AA maybe KQ, with that range I think this is a correct call. No pokerstove now, at work...

Edit: Just saw the results, man his range was WAY wider than I thought.

That extra $18 isn't much, but if we can get it it turns our 6:1 call into a 15:1 call... I know it's not a whole lot, but that does make it a clear call. Folding is obviously incorrect there.

It's taken me a while to get a sense for how wide people RR with. I have never had doubts that 77 reraises in this spot. This, takes the cake though.
