Ouch, trashed by someone in Las Vegas, of all places. Here is why I wake up. See list of top ranked cities in the World. Last time I checked Vegas doesn't even make the list of top 50 in the USA......

the real problem here is that jays fans are delusional. every BJ fan thinks their team right now is a top tier team and it's not. too many holes. nearly every player on the team is a model of inconsistency, and if it's not positional players being injured, it's pitchers being injured.

and the thing is, they just say "once [insert player name here, e.g. Burnett] gets back from the DL, you watch, we'll catch the wild card". wrong. imo their last three big signs aside from Wells (Ryan, Burnett, Thomas) were all very bad deals... especially Thomas, if you ask me. the guy has a comeback year out of aboslutely nowhere and the jays eat it up and dump money on him. he's such a useless player.

The problem with the Jays is that they can't hit or pitch as well as the Yankees or the Red Sox. The best bet for the Jays to succeed is to run balls hot or to move to another division.


Glaus has grounded into 7 dps this year
Frank Thomas is leading the Jays in OBP and is third in slugging.
I talked to Alex Rios and he said he doesn't care some times he just strikes out for fun so he doesn't have to run to first base.
Towers has the best K/BB ration of all Jays starters.
Trading guys like Glaus is really dumb because they are at the nadir (did I use that right?) of their value.

If I were to trade guys I would trade Marcum and Litsch.
